Pretty sure, you can only get a skill once so you can't have it on your bar twice. Try it and let me know!

I think that's the case. I read somewhere else that someone did this quest and only ended up with a low level kitty that they didn't want. As they were part of the great bear hunt I wasn't paying too close of attention.

I don't think so. I believe I read someone charmed another animal and it replaces your current one. So if you charm a lvl 3 bird, your lvl 11 goes away and you start the lvl 3 bird. Then they get EXP and gain lvls.

If we are talking about the quest that Master Ranger Nente gives you in Post-Searing just outside of Ascalon, I already had a Melandru's Stalker (level 9). He didn't take it away or nothing and I got the skills and exp (for free).

What I would like to know is why do you have to keep the charm pet spell all the time The pets already yours and if you remove the spell Poof your pet is gone I would think comfort pet would be fine for keepin you pet with you. then your not wasting a spot for charm pet that you can't use because you aready have a pet

you cant even attempt to tame a new pet if you already have one charmed. you have to give it to the tamer before you can attempt to charm another

I agree with both of your ideas, Lasher.
Actually I think Revive Animal is better than Comfort Animal: beastmastery is quasi-useful and healing a level 15 pet for 20 hitpoints is laughable. |
